Cicada Wine Bar – Server
Location:
Cambridge - Central Square, 106 Prospect Street.
Cicada Wine Bar is an artistic, intimate & beloved Cambridge hub. Vietnamese coffee & light lunch by day; transforms into a wine bar at night with Vietnamese small plates and charcuterie. It is James Beard Nominated and has been named Boston’s Best multiple years.
PositionFull Time Evening Server (5-6 shifts/week)
Compensation$30-40/hr (base + tips)
Schedule4:30-11:30 PM
Professional Expectations- Experience in full service restaurants.
- Want to build a long‑term career in hospitality (you love people!) with a focus on wine.
- Knowledge in wine (all levels welcome) & passion for learning. You will work closely with us to regularly bring in new wines, and learn about taste profiles, regions, methods, and makers on a constant basis.
- Eager participation in wine selection, events, and sharing wine knowledge with guests.
- Hungry for a place to stay for a long time – an intimate team and a dining room to call home.
- Be humble & respectful. Be kind.
- Work hard.
- Communicate well & often.
- Be hungry to learn every day.
- Collaborate with team to problem‑solve & create beauty.
