We enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor in our smallest format stores. We are experts in service, operations, process and efficiency. This team is proficient in all areas of the store to complete duties such as cashiering, stocking, presentation and price accuracy. You’ll provide exceptional guest service, customizing each experience and anticipating guest needs.

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture across the store
• Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement
• Supporting daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is needed
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Assist with workload while minimizing guest disruption
• Work in all departments to ensure sales floor is full, zoned and in stock
• Assist with truck unload and stock product to the sales floor
• Make changes to merchandising displays and department signage
• Conduct weekly price changes and ensure signage is accurate for all departments
• Complete scans and system audits to ensure inventory accuracy
• Support execution of major transitions
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety (interior/exterior), including trash, restrooms, carts, and spills as needed
• Accurately execute all fills and organize reserve product from all departments
• Process inbound deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy
• Complete backroom daily and weekly audits
• If certified, operate powered equipment to move merchandise on the sales floor and in the backroom
• Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy
• Follow processes with attention to detail, monitor progress and prioritize tasks
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely at all times and report hazards
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU), while complying with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Climb ladders as required
• Move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
• Remain mobile for the duration of shift
