SaaS Sales, Director of Sales, Healthcare / Medical Sales
Opmed.ai is building the technology engine behind smarter, more efficient healthcare operations, and we’re looking for a hunter-first Director of Sales to help scale what we believe will be healthcare’s next unicorn.
This is an individual contributor role for a proven enterprise SaaS seller who thrives on building pipeline from scratch, owning the full sales cycle, and closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals within hospitals and health systems across the Northeastern United States. Experience selling SaaS solutions into the Operating Room, perioperative, or procedural environment is a major advantage, as this role involves engaging deeply with perioperative leadership, surgical services, operations, and executive stakeholders.
You will be fully accountable for net‑new pipeline generation, deal execution, and revenue performance. Success in this role requires a disciplined hunter mindset, comfort with outbound prospecting, and the ability to navigate long enterprise sales cycles using a structured methodology such as MEDDIPICC.
What You’ll Do- Own and exceed an annual revenue quota
- Generate the majority of your pipeline through net‑new outbound prospecting
- Manage the entire sales cycle from first outreach through closed‑won deals
- Sell into complex hospital environments with multiple decision‑makers
- Lead discovery, product validation, business case development, and contract negotiations
- Present confidently to senior hospital and perioperative leadership
- Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, R&D, and Client Success teams
- Help shape go‑to‑market strategy as the company scales
- 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor in healthcare SaaS sales
- Proven success in hunter‑led, full‑cycle enterprise sales roles
- Strong experience generating pipeline through outbound efforts
- Familiarity with MEDDIPICC or similar enterprise sales frameworks
- Experience selling into hospitals or health systems
- Major plus:
Experience selling into the Operating Room, perioperative, or procedural space - Strong executive presence and presentation skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, high‑growth startup environment
- Living within the Northeastern U.S. is strongly preferred to support in‑person meetings and on‑site hospital engagements
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
