We are seeking a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (EHS) to join a JLL client account team within the Life Sciences industry. The Sr. EHS Specialist will be a key member of the site team and provide EHS advisory and execution services to support the hard services operation at the site. The role guides and supports site management, program owners and personnel to ensure compliance with EH&S requirements through design, organization, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures and programs for the client account.
The objective is to deliver Facility Management that protects personnel and property while avoiding loss, building public trust and ensuring business continuity.
This role reports to the account HSSE Director and may require travel to various operations sites and meetings (estimated 10%).

Primarily 1st shift (7am-4pm) with occasional off-shift and weekend work.
Salary/ Compensation
Estimated compensation for this position: 76,217.00 – USD per year. This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.

What this job involvesWe are seeking a Sr. EHS Specialist to join a JLL client account team within the Life Sciences industry. The role provides guidance and support to site management, program owners and site personnel to ensure compliance with EH&S requirements through the design, organization, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures and programs for the client account.
The Sr. EHS Specialist must understand state and local requirements along with relevant performance indicators related to customer expectations. The objective is to deliver Facility Management to the site that protects personnel and property while avoiding loss, building public trust and ensuring business continuity.
This position will roll up under the account HSSE Director and will be dedicated to the Cambridge, MA facility with periodic travel to various operations sites for investigations and meetings (est. 10% travel).
Responsibilities
Become a reliable point of contact for HSE requirements and activities for the site – for JLL management and technician staff.
Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions using standards, best management practices, and analytical techniques.
Communicate HSE needs and results to technician staff, Senior HSE Management, and site leadership.
Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive HSSE programs and initiatives that comply with regulatory requirements and promote employee participation and accountability (e.g., hazard assessments, contractor safety, energy isolation, chemical management, incident management, emergency procedures).
Lead the continued development and refinement of JLL’s HSE culture and training programs at the site, including periodic review and updates to training matrix.
Ensure that accidents, injuries, near misses/good catches, and other events are captured and reported. Manage OSHA 301/300 recordkeeping for the site.
