The Albertin Lab studies the evolution of developmental patterning mechanisms using cephalopods and other molluscs as model systems. The Research Assistant II will support laboratory experiments, data collection, animal care, microscopy, data analysis, and general maintenance.
Job‑Specific Responsibilities- Lead laboratory experiments using standard techniques and equipment
- Collect data related to cephalopod embryology and genomics
- Handle animal care
- Perform microscopy and data analysis
- Maintain and clean equipment and order supplies
- Process orders or invoices as directed by administrative personnel
- Other related duties as necessary
This position requires occasional nights and/or weekends.
Working ConditionsLaboratory setting.
