The Neuroscience TRC is committed to the development of transformational therapeutics for patients with neurodegenerative, neuromuscular and neuropsychiatric diseases. A network of internal and external partnerships across neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases and treatment modalities (small molecules, biologics and genetic medicines) supports our ambition to become leaders in neuroscience. Internal research focuses on causal human biology, matching therapeutic modality to molecular mechanism, and translational discovery enabling a rapid path to clinical proof-of-concept.
In the role as an Associate Scientist within In Vivo Pharmacology, the ideal candidate:
- Performs in vivo pharmacology studies in mice, inclusive of in-life dosing (IV, SC, IP, PO), tissue collection, and tissue processing
- Performs and/or supports stereotaxic surgery in mice
- Performs and analyzes pharmacodynamic (PD) and efficacy readouts, such as ddPCR/qPCR, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, or muscle physiology assays
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of academic and / or industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive mouse handling experience, including common dosing routes, and tissue collection from CNS and peripheral tissues required
- Proficiency in standard molecular biology or biochemical assays required
- Background in mouse genetics and/or neuroanatomy
- Experience with rodent stereotaxic surgery
- Familiarity with in vivo bioluminescence imaging
- Experience with mouse breeding or colony management
- Experience with immunohistochemistry techniques or muscle physiology assays
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to scientific rigor and reproducibility
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative research environment

Compensation Overview:
Cambridge Crossing: $97,120 - $117,688The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws.
Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.
