1. Security Officer

Summary

The Security Officer maintains safety for employees, guests, and clients during events through patrol, observation, and documentation. Acts as the first point of contact for security issues and assists with customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned venue areas, monitor activity, report incidents, and manage unruly guests.
  • Control entry points, verify credentials, and ensure proper access.
  • Escort VIPs, artists, guests, and employees to prevent disruptions or injuries.
  • Respond to alarms, conduct safety checks, and assist with evacuations if needed.
  • Handle medical situations, provide minor first aid, and coordinate transportation when necessary.
  • Assist guests with directions and information, and support customer service needs.
  • Screen and verify all personnel and vendors entering the venue.
  • Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and repairs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of related experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Organizational, leadership, and time management skills
  • Ability to obtain security officer license and Guard Card
  • CPR and AED certification
  • Knowledge of industry rules, regulations, and safety standards
  • Ability to stand long hours and work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of music industry and live events is a plus
2. Security Supervisor

Summary

The Security Supervisor oversees security activities, monitors security cameras, and ensures safety protocols are followed to protect the venue and its occupants.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record activity via security cameras, ensure equipment functionality.
  • Observe guests and staff for potential threats.
  • Maintain daily activity logs and incident reports.
  • Patrol the venue to ensure security measures are upheld.
  • Manage staff scheduling, credentials, and deployment.
  • Oversee the maintenance of security systems and logs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
    Bachelor’s preferred
  • 3–5 years of security experience, law enforcement background preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to qualify for security license and Guard Card
  • Knowledge of OSHA/ADA laws and regulations
3. Security Manager

Summary

The Security Manager ensures overall safety, provides staff training, manages incident responses, and oversees security staffing and policies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with departments on safety protocols.
  • Train staff on risk management and security procedures.
  • Manage incidents and create reports.
  • Maintain credentials and oversee security staffing and scheduling.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
    Bachelor’s preferred
  • At least 5 years of related experience, leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA/ADA laws and security licensing requirements
4. Fire Safety Officer

Summary

The Fire Safety Officer conducts safety inspections, manages fire safety procedures, and ensures compliance with safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor fire panels and alarms during events.
  • Conduct safety inspections and oversee safety procedures.
  • Develop evacuation plans and communicate procedures.
  • Report fire system issues and coordinate maintenance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of related experience
  • Certificate S98 or S95 required
  • Knowledge of OSHA/ADA laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
