Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Schedule:

Full Time (Mon–Fri, 9:00 am–5:00 pm; may include evenings, nights, weekends/holidays as needed).

Overview

We are seeking Security Reception officers for premier high‑rise Class A buildings in Cambridge. Responsibilities include front‑desk management, administrative support, security coordination, and customer service.

Positions are available based on applicant eligibility, availability, background screening, drug testing, and completion of orientation. Upon completion of orientation, positions may still be rescinded in the event of failure to pass any background requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional appearance and remain on post at all times.
  • Provide general admin support and respond to inquiries, anticipating customer needs.
  • Use computer software for daily tasks.
  • Review and approve reports, duty logs, and other documentation submitted by security personnel.
  • Ensure timely notification of all serious incidents.
  • Maintain effective communication with all assigned security personnel.
  • Deliver a memorable and pleasant experience to customers and vendors.
  • Counsel, advise, motivate, and provide discipline as necessary to personnel.
  • Collaborate with management on employee relations, development, and retention programs.
  • Keep security personnel informed of procedural, policy, or regulatory changes.
  • Answer phone calls and monitor concierge personnel to ensure satisfactory guest services.
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of reception or guest service experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a neat, professional appearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to multi‑task in a dynamic environment.
  • Dependable transportation.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to pass all pre‑employment background and drug screening requirements.
  • Minimum age 18.
