Client of Innova Solutions is hiring a Software Engineer – Dev Sec Ops  in Cambridge, MA for a 12‑month full‑time contract.

• Oversee development, documentation, and maintenance of standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software.
• Lead a small technical team to accomplish technical milestones and contribute to advanced rapid development software capabilities.
• Communicate technical progress, hurdles, proposed solutions, and team updates to leadership.
• Research or publish in the CI/CD or AI software field (strong plus).
• Develop processes and tools for rapid, efficient test execution; familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest) is a plus.
• Use AI tools in CI/CD development; familiarity is a plus but not required.
• Collaborate with Hardware‑In‑the‑Loop teams to integrate software with HIL testing environments.
• Work effectively with cross‑functional teams, demonstrating teamwork, communication skills, and a fast‑paced development mindset.
• Proficient in version control systems (Git, Git Hub, Git Lab); experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Circle
  
  CI); knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes); familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet); testing frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, PyTest); monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack); and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
• Familiarity with artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory).

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years’ experience in software engineering, or Master's degree with 1 year of experience.

• Education or experience in modern CI/CD techniques and/or use of AI tools.
