Description

As a Senior iOS Engineer on our team, you will be a critical technical leader, driving the architectural design, implementation, and evolution of core features for our next‑generation creative applications. We're looking for an engineer that excels in a dynamic environment, capable of both deep technical execution and critical thinking across complex systems. You should be excited by the prospect of rapidly prototyping innovative concepts while simultaneously establishing robust, forward‑looking architectural foundations.

Responsibilities
  • Architectural Leadership:
    Defining and evolving the technical architecture for complex imaging workflows, ensuring scalability, performance, and future extensibility.
  • Innovation & Feature Ownership:
    Leading the design and implementation of innovative features that leverage Apple's unique hardware capabilities, translating ambitious requirements into elegant, performant, and intuitive user experiences.
  • Technical Mentorship & Growth:
    Guiding and mentoring a team of dedicated engineers, fostering best development practices, and contributing to the growth and culture of the team.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Partnering closely with design, product management, domain experts, and other engineering teams to translate user needs and creative visions into exceptional software experiences.
  • Performance & Efficiency Optimization:
    Meticulously optimizing performance, resource utilization, and responsiveness across demanding workflows, we ensure a consistently fluid and delightful user experience, even with large datasets and intensive operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional experience in iOS application development
  • Expertise in Apple's core frameworks, including but not limited to UIKit, Swift

    UI, Core Animation, AV Foundation, and Metal (or other graphics frameworks).
  • Demonstrated mastery of software architecture patterns, data structures, and algorithms, especially in high‑performance contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability to technically lead projects, mentor engineers, and drive multi‑functional initiatives from concept to delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Extensive experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in iOS applications, with a focus on UI responsiveness, memory management, power efficiency, and real‑time processing.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing applications that involve complex media manipulation, rendering, or content creation workflows for professionals or enthusiasts (e.g., video editing, music production, graphic design, or advanced image processing).
