Work with a small team on cutting-edge research and development projects, focusing on AI based planning and scheduling (e.g., in the context of joint all domain command and control), novel compiler (e.g., LLVM passes) and/or OS-related (e.g., kernel modules, userland services) capability development Design and develop prototype software using the latest open‑source technologies Receive and incorporate feedback from end users, field tests, and exercises Explore technical possibilities collaboratively with motivated, world class colleagues Deliver practical solutions to complex problems
Qualifications You Must Have- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or STEM major obtained by start date.
- Experience with Java and/or C, Linux, basic Networking, and Cloud Integration Experience with distributed systems, middleware, and AI.
- Creative problem solving and experimental design
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Work in a self-directed manner as part of a team

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
