PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges
Required:
Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: 90 days with active MN license; up to 120 days if licensure needed
• Fingerprinting
Required:
Yes; results must be posted prior to privileges
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance:
Covered per locum agreement
• Orientation: 4 hours, non-billable
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Outpatient hematology and medical oncology services
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses:
Active Minnesota medical license required; IMLC accepted
• Board:
Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• DEA:
Active DEA required
•
Certifications:
BLS required
•
Experience:
Solid tumor oncology experience required
• Other
Qualifications:
Drive-in candidates required due to locums-to-perm consideration
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology clinic care
• Manage solid tumor and hematologic malignancy patients
• Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary oncology teams
• Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation
• Participate in continuity-of-care planning for potential permanent placement
