What You’ll DoDesign and program control systems (PLCs/HMIs/robotics/motion control) for automated equipment, per internal and customer specifications.
Develop safety-PLC circuits; perform risk assessment and design/implement required safety devices to ensure compliance and safe operation.
Specify components, document control, electrical and pneumatic designs; carry out machine programming, pneumatic/hydraulic design, debugging, and system certification.
Travel (~25% average — mostly domestic, with potential for future international travel) to customer sites to handle installation, startup, commissioning, and hand‑off.
What We’re Looking For5+ years’ experience designing and programming control systems for automated equipment.
Strong skills in PLC/HMI programming, robotics, motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics, and use of AutoCAD.
Hands‑on experience with control platforms — e.g. Allen‑Bradley software suites like Studio 5000, RS500, Factory Talk View (or similar).
Proven experience with safety-PLC programming and capability to deliver UL-508 certified control designs.
Associate degree (or higher) in a relevant technical or engineering field is preferred.
