Psychologist / Licensed Therapist LICSW - Child and Adolescent Focused

Allina Health invites you to apply for the Psychologist / Licensed Therapist LICSW - Child and Adolescent Focused role at our Cambridge Medical Center. Provide evidence-based therapy in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, with flexible hybrid options up to 50% virtual care. Monday–Friday schedule.

Your Role
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and psychological evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and care teams.
  • Deliver outpatient psychotherapy services (individual, family, and group therapy).
  • Engage patients’ social supports to improve functioning and outcomes.
  • Coordinate care with community providers and agencies; initiate referrals as needed.
  • Mentor and provide clinical guidance to mental health practitioners when applicable.
Hours / Virtual / In-Person
  • Typical clinic hours Monday – Friday.
  • Up to 50% virtual care / remote option.
  • In‑person office days may vary by site and over time.

Job Description
  • Perform evaluation/assessment and diagnosis.
  • Create treatment plan in collaboration with patient and provider team.

  • Collaborate with patient care teams to monitor patient functioning and inform treatment planning.
  • Engage patient’s social supports as appropriate to improve functioning.
  • Coordinate treatment with other providers and community agencies.
Physical Demands

Sedentary. Lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally; negligible weight frequently.

Qualifications
  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Psychology or Counseling required OR
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Licensed Psychologist – MN Board of Psychology required upon hire OR
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker – MN Board of Social Work required upon hire
  • 2+ years of patient treatment in a clinical setting preferred
  • BLS Tier 1 – Basic Life Support – Multisource required within 180 days
  • Formal training/certification in a suicide prevention modality applicable to role within 90 days required

Allina Health’s Mental Health & Addiction Services

290+ clinicians across 45 primary care clinics, 15 partial hospitalization and day treatment programs, and 7 hospitals with 270 inpatient behavioral health beds. Care is led by interdisciplinary teams of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and addiction specialists.

Pay Range: $125,000 to $140,000 per year. The starting rate depends on experience, education, and union agreement.
