Starting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience. We are seeking an energetic and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Cambridge, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our fast‑paced food service environment.

• Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff supervision and customer service.
• Oversee food preparation, quality control, and inventory management.
• Operate and maintain all store equipment.
• Process customer orders via phone and in‑person, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain financial records.
• Coordinate deliveries and manage stock levels.
• Implement and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Train and mentor team members on proper procedures and customer service techniques.
• Resolve customer complaints and address any operational issues.
• Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and improving overall performance.
• Adapt to changing priorities and assist in various tasks as needed.

• Proven experience in food service or retail management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in operating food service equipment and POS systems.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Computer literacy for order processing and inventory management.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Efficient time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Food safety certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
