Perm - Physician - Emergency Medicine Cambridge, OH

Overview

OVP Health is actively seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine or EM-experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physicians to help grow our EM program at Ohio Health Southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge, OH. OVP is a family-owned physician group practice focused on the delivery of hospitalist and emergency department physicians. OVP's physicians and affiliated providers practice in hospitals and other inpatient facilities. These are full-time permanent positions that may require residency within the immediate local area.

Relocation may be required. To be discussed  accepting new graduate candidates - experience required. Not accepting visa candidates. Accepting Locums candidates.

• Board Certified Emergency Medicine or Board Certified Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with EM experience is welcome to apply.
• Support an ED, including 24 hours/day of physician coverage with 12-hour shifts.
• Work within a 16-bed ED with ~27k annual ED volume.
• EMR:
  Meditech.
• On-site administrative support; 27k/year ED volume; 16 bed ED; 24 hours/day physician coverage (12-hour shifts).
• Collaborate in a physician-led organization with support from APPs (36 hours/day) coverage.
• Position may be Full-Time Employee (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC).

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine OR Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience (REQUIRED).
• Emergency Medicine work experience of at least 12 months / 2,000 hours (not including training) (REQUIRED).
• OH State License (in hand or in process) (REQUIRED).
• List of procedures the provider is experienced in performing (note in "Experience" field) (REQUIRED).
• COVID Vaccination Status proof (REQUIRED).
• Permanent Placement Fee noted (REQUIRED).
• Visa requirements: whether J1 or H1B is needed (REQUIRED).
• Clean malpractice licensing (REQUIRED).
• DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) or note in details (REQUIRED).
• Permanent Placement Fee: $18K (REQUIRED).

Compensation can be contracted as W2 with benefits or 1099 independent contractor with guaranteed shifts. All-inclusive rates:

• 1099: $250/hr
• W2: $240/hr
• Additional $10/hour for candidates willing to work all night shifts
• W2 benefits include:
  Health/Dental/Vision (with HSA), $250k group life policy, 401k with company contribution, and $3000 CME.
