We are seeking an experienced Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality care in a 16-bed Emergency Department located in Cambridge, Ohio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled EM physician seeking flexible scheduling and a collaborative work environment in a community hospital setting.
Schedule: 7:00 AM– 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 5–10 shifts per month (primarily nights and weekends)
Weekend Requirements: Yes
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
- Perform evaluations, diagnoses,and treatment for a wide range of emergent and acute medical conditions.
- Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients.
- Collaborate with nursing staff,hospitalists, and specialty consultants to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Document all encounters accurately using Meditech EMR.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
- Active Ohio medical license or IMLCeligibility.
- Certifications required: ACLS,ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP (all current and from the American Heart Association).
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency medicine experience required.
