Locum - Physician - Emergency Medicine Cambridge, OH

Overview

OVP Cambridge is looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician. Position is travel, with a requirement of a minimum 5+ shifts per month, primarily nights and weekends. Credentialing timeline is approximately 90 days. Provider must be open to working at both OVP sites: O'Bleness and Cambridge.

• Provide high-quality emergency medicine care in a 16-bed ED with 24 hours/day physician coverage (12-hour shifts).
• Collaborate with physician-led organization and on-site administrative support.
• Be available for both O'Bleness and Cambridge locations as needed.
• Documentation and adherence to EMR (Meditech) processes.

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with EM experience are welcome to apply.
• OH state license required or eligible; will accept IMLC with proof of LOQ within 3 business days of job acceptance.
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS required; NRP required.
• 2+ years of recent emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Malpractice must be included in hourly rate cap of $350/hour; rate listed: $350/hour.
• Must be boarded ABMS/AOA IM/FM; other certifications not accepted.
• COVID vaccination required.
• Clean background required.
• Must have valid OH license; on-site orientation and credentialing timeline approximately 90 days.

• Full-Time Employee (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC) arrangement.
• On-site administrative support provided.
• All lodging must be booked through OVP.
• Medical staff fees not reimbursed; physician conversion fee cap between $18k-$20k.
• Name clear process required; provider available for nights/weekends and to be noted at time of name clear.
• Submission must be notated at time of name clear; otherwise candidate redirected.

• Rate: $350/hour.
