Full-Time Human Resources Manager in Cambridge, Ohio. Family-owned company celebrating 72 years. Seeking a detail-focused HR manager to support a positive, safety‑focused workplace.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and coordinate HR processes and functions across the organization
  • Oversee full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, and new‑hire compliance
  • Develop, lead, and support employee training initiatives
  • Manage company safety programs, including compliance audits and safety training
  • Maintain accurate, confidential HR files and safety documentation
  • Administer benefits such as medical, dental, vision, HSA, life insurance, and 401(k)
  • Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and return‑to‑work procedures
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, and other regulations
  • Oversee Hours of Service compliance, driver qualification files, and routine safety audits
  • Lead policy development, handbook updates, and HR best practice initiatives
  • Support employee relations, coach supervisors, and guide corrective action processes
  • Communicate clearly and professionally at all levels
  • Assist with payroll processing
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years of HR management experience in manufacturing, trucking, or construction, including compliance and employee relations
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, EEO)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA standards and DOT safety requirements
  • Experience with safety oversight and employee training programs
  • Ability to interpret and apply state and federal regulations to daily workplace situations
  • Experience supporting managers with coaching, investigations, and documentation
  • Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across all levels
