- Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output
- Ability to identify any issues with the product or process
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, and assist in modifying and updating procedures
- Operate a forklift for various functions
- Lift bags, weighing a maximum of 55 lb., out of a transfer wagon and stage them on the charge conveyor three to five feet away
- Manually adjust the location of the bale on the conveyor
- Repetitive motion sweeping and scarping the mixer
- Communicate with additional staff members
- Operate Mixer, Skid unloader, Bale Cutter, Weigh Conveyor, and Charge conveyor
- Follow production schedule and maintain pace as outlined in mixing procedures
- Assist in establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures
- Fill out applicable paperwork
- Empty oil buckets on the mezzanine
- Assist in staging and organizing raw materials
- Keep work area clean
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends
- Knowledge of general computer skills
The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
