Mixer Operator - 3rd Shift

• Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output
• Ability to identify any issues with the product or process
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, and assist in modifying and updating procedures
• Operate a forklift for various functions
• Lift bags, weighing a maximum of 55 lb., out of a transfer wagon and stage them on the charge conveyor three to five feet away
• Manually adjust the location of the bale on the conveyor
• Repetitive motion sweeping and scarping the mixer
• Communicate with additional staff members
• Operate Mixer, Skid unloader, Bale Cutter, Weigh Conveyor, and Charge conveyor
• Follow production schedule and maintain pace as outlined in mixing procedures
• Assist in establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures
• Fill out applicable paperwork
• Empty oil buckets on the mezzanine
• Assist in staging and organizing raw materials
• Keep work area clean

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends
• Knowledge of general computer skills

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
