• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Necessity for attention to detail.
• The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output.
• Ability to identify any issues with the product or process.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Following all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures.
• Operating a forklift for various functions.
• Job requires the operator to lift bags, weighing a maximum of 55 lbs., out of a transfer wagon and stage them on the charge conveyor three to five feet away.
• The operator will need to manually adjust the location of the bale on the conveyor.
• The position requires repetitive motion sweeping and scraping the mixer.
• Requires the operator to communicate with the additional staff member.
• Responsible for operation of the Mixer, Skid unloader, Bale Cutter, Weigh Conveyor and Charge conveyor.
• Following production schedule and maintaining pace as outlined in mixing procedures.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures.
• Fill out any applicable paperwork.
• Empty oil buckets on the mezzanine.
• Assist in staging and organizing raw materials.
• Keep work area clean.

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School or GED preferred
• Willing to work overtime including weekends
• Close visual work required.
• Knowledge of general computer skills.
• Attention to detail.

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.

3rd Shift 10:45pm-7:00am
