Dual Seal Operator - 2nd shift

Quanex is looking for a Dual Seal Operator – 2nd Shift to join our team located in Cambridge, OH.

Responsibilities:
The primary function is to produce quality products with minimum scrap.

Hourly Rate: $18/hr. + $1/hr shift premium for 2nd Shift.

2nd Shift = 2pm to 10pm

What Success Looks Like:

• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely
• Produce and use Material Identification labels
• Identify quality material prior to packaging
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S Standards
• Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers

Your Credentials:

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School or GED preferred
• Willing to work overtime including weekends
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis
