Accounts Assistant

Full time | 3-month temporary contract | Hybrid Options

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 3-month contract basis in Swavesey. This is a varied role within a busy finance team, offering the chance to gain exposure across multiple areas of the accounts function and support the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

• Processing purchase ledger invoices
• Assisting with sales ledger and customer accounts
• Bank reconciliations and cash allocation
• Credit control and chasing outstanding payments
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Assisting with payment runs
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting month-end processes
• Handling finance-related queries from customers and suppliers

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role
• Strong understanding of purchase and sales ledger processes
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently
• Experience with Sage
