Description

Interim Accounts Payable Assistant:

Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Manage payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Respond to supplier queries and maintain strong relationships.
Assist with month-end tasks related to accounts payable.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice or payment issues.
Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.

Profile

A successful Interim Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
