Are you an organised, proactive and detail‑driven administrator looking to play a key role within two fast-paced, mission‑focused teams? We’re supporting the recruitment of a Business Support Administrator to join a growing pharmaceutical sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and is passionate about contributing to work that makes a real difference to patients.
About the Role This is a pivotal position providing high‑quality administrative and business support to both the Medical and Patient Access teams. You will work closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional colleagues, ensuring smooth coordination of processes, events and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and coordination support across Medical and Patient Access activities.
Manage document approval workflows, maintain trackers and support simple operational reporting.
Assist with purchase orders, invoice processing and spend tracking.
Prepare reports, presentations and departmental documentation as needed.
Support the organisation of external events such as conferences, exhibitions and advisory boards, including logistics and materials coordination.
Contribute to internal team meetings and help organise team events.
Upload materials into digital approval systems (e.g., Veeva Promo Mats), creating item codes and ensuring compliance with internal processes.
Maintain accurate and audit‑ready documentation in line with industry codes and internal policies.
Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
Skills & Experience:
Strong IT skills, including excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
Exceptional organisation and communication abilities.
Experience supporting multiple business functions.
Strong writing, digital and analytical skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities.
A proactive approach, strong initiative and a positive “can‑do” attitude.
Excellent attention to detail.
A genuine interest in pharmaceutical medicines and patient‑focused work.
Desired (Not Essential):
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Familiarity with Veeva Promo Mats or other approval systems.
Experience with finance systems.
Use of AI tools such as Copilot.
Understanding of contract management systems (e.g., Docu Sign).
Adobe software skills or presentation abilities.
