Role overview:

Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join Bassingbourn Village College on temporary basis.

As our Office Administrator, you will be the welcoming face of the school and a key member of our support team. You will provide efficient and professional administrative support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. Working closely with staff, pupils, parents and visitors, you will manage a wide range of administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, coordinate communications, and help create a positive, organised and supportive environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued.

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work in a close-knit school community where everyone plays a vital part in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment, enabling the school to operate efficiently while making a positive difference to the daily experience of pupils, staff and families.

The successful candidate will:
  • Be an organised, proactive and highly efficient administrator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
  • Demonstrate a professional, approachable and welcoming manner, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Thrive in a busy school environment, working collaboratively as part of a team while using initiative to prioritise tasks and solve problems independently.

As an employee of Anglian Learning, you would benefit from access to a range of employee benefits and Trust-wide initiatives. For an overview of the benefits on offer please refer to the Recruitment Information Pack.

* Regrettably we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must either have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application or be in the process of obtaining this, as proof of right to work will be required during the recruitment process.

If working for an organisation that strives to have a long-lasting positive impact on its pupils and local community sounds appealing then we want to hear from you!
