This is a pivotal appointment within a team advising on strategic housing delivery, mixed-use development and innovation-led schemes linked to Cambridge’s continued growth. The successful candidate will take responsibility for project delivery, client management and mentoring junior staff, while supporting the wider business development strategy.

As an Associate Planner, you will operate as a senior project lead with both technical and leadership responsibility.

• Leading major residential planning applications and strategic housing projects
• Managing client relationships and ensuring repeat instructions
• Overseeing Local Plan promotion strategies and examination preparation
• Supporting and leading appeal submissions and inquiry teams
• Advising on mixed-use schemes and innovation campus development
• Mentoring junior planners and supporting professional development
• Managing project budgets, timelines and consultant coordination
• Supporting fee proposals, tenders and business development initiatives
