Position: Centre Manager Centre for Alternative Finance (Fixed Term)

The Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF), based at Cambridge Judge Business School, is a global research centre focused on addressing information gaps in alternative finance, digital financial services, and emerging financial technologies. We are now seeking a highly organised and proactive Centre Manager to lead on operational delivery and support the strategic development of the Centre's expanding portfolio.

This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Centre including project coordination, financial management, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. The postholder will help ensure the successful delivery of CCAF's ambitious programme of research and activity.

You will manage core administrative functions, including monitoring project progress, maintaining financial oversight, leading procurement processes, and producing reports for both internal and external stakeholders. A key part of the role involves supporting grant applications and managing funded projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with university and funder requirements. You will also take the lead on CRM system maintenance, GDPR compliance, and communications in collaboration with CCAF's digital and events teams.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in project and financial management, preferably in a university or research setting. You should be comfortable managing budgets, deadlines, and cross-functional teams, and be able to build strong relationships with academic, professional, and external partners. Experience with grant funding processes and knowledge of university systems will be highly advantageous.

Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills are essential, as is a collaborative, team-oriented approach. You will be confident in navigating complex systems, drafting clear reports, and supporting the wider team to deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in supporting research that informs global policy and practice, while developing your career within a world-leading academic institution.

The role is available for 12 months in the first instance.
