Job Duties:

Providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
Planning and implementing activities to meet the individual needs of children
Monitoring and recording children's development and progress
Working in partnership with parents and carers
Maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for children

Required Qualifications:

Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) or equivalent
Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification
Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) or equivalent

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting

Knowledge and

Skills:

Understanding of the EYFS framework
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

SEN training
Experience working with children with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

Work in a nursery setting
May involve lifting and carrying children
Exposure to various childhood illnesses
Working closely with parents and carers
