Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in cut-and-carve, structural alterations, and complex refurbishment projects to join our growing team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

This role involves managing challenging internal demolition, temporary works, structural cut-and-carve packages, and refurbishment phases within live or constrained environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site activities on cut-and-carve and refurbishment projects.

• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and specialist contractors.

• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.

• Oversee structural alterations, temporary works, and internal demolition phases.

• Maintain project schedules, site records, and progress reporting.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

• Drive quality standards throughout all phases of the build.

• Resolve site issues promptly to maintain workflow and productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on cut & carve / structural refurbishment projects.

• Strong understanding of temporary works, structural sequencing, and internal construction methods.

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid (preferred).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in live environments and manage multiple trades.

• Strong technical awareness and attention to detail.
