We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and adaptable Project Manager with a background in commercial construction to join our growing Cambridge team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse range of projects, including refurbishment and CAT A and CAT B fit outs, ensuring the successful delivery of projects across our client portfolio. What We're Looking For

We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds and experience. To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

Essential:

• Construction-related qualification (BSc, HNC/HND or equivalent experience considered)
• GCSE or equivalent Grade 4 (C) or above in English Language, Literacy and Numeracy
• Proven and recent experience within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes
• Experience in commercial or design and build projects
• Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety Practices and CDM Regulations
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical information
• Strong leadership, organisation, and coordination skills
• A proactive, positive, and solutions-focused approach aligned with our values of Building, Sharing, and Caring
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence using IT systems (Microsoft Office and project tools)
• Full UK driving licence (minimum 6 months post-test experience)
• Commitment to professional standards, learning, and continuous improvement

• Desirable:
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• First Aid at Work certification
• CITB Temporary Works Coordinator (TWCTC)

Reporting to the Head of Cambridge Office, the Project Manager will oversee a diverse portfolio of construction, refurbishment and CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects across a range of sectors. Taking ownership from pre-construction through to completion and handover, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are planned, co-ordinated and delivered in line with client expectations, programme, budget and quality requirements.

Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams, you will manage all aspects of project delivery, including programme management, procurement, commercial awareness, risk management and stakeholders’ communication.
