Sub Agent - Highways Scheme

Are you a skilled and proactive Sub Agent looking for a contract opportunity outside IR35?

We're looking for a Sub agent to support some highways works in Cambridge. If you have strong infrastructure and earthworks experience, we want to hear from you!

• Management/Supervisor experience on civil engineering projects (structures/bridges preferred)
• Understanding of temporary works
• Experience managing daily site activities, sequencing, and short-term programming
• Good knowledge of quality management - inspections, ITPs, NCRs, and handover documentation
• Ability to oversee and coordinate subcontractors
• Good experience with quality assurance
• Confident with method statements, risk assessments, and permits
• Experience monitoring progress and productivity
• Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication skills for liaising with the Agent, engineers, client, and supply chain
• Proactive approach to problem solving and resolving site issues

Rate is dependent on experience.
