We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment project in Duxford .
The project will involve a range of refurbishment and improvement works, including replacing lighting, scaffold erection and management, working at height and general site coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities Day-to-day management and coordination of site activities.
Supervising subcontractors and the site workforce.
Coordinating refurbishment works, including lighting replacement and associated works.
Managing and overseeing scaffold erection and dismantling.
Carrying out and recording scaffold inspections.
Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements.
Monitoring site progress, quality and workmanship.
Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised working environment.
Liaising with the project management team, contractors and other stakeholders.
Ensuring site documentation, permits, RAMS and inspections are kept up to date.
Reporting progress and any issues to the Project Manager.
Requirements The successful candidate must hold the following qualifications/certificates:
SMSTS
First Aid
Working at Heights
Scaffold Inspection / CISRS Scaffold Inspection qualification
You will need to have previous experience working as a Site Manager on refurbishment or construction projects , with strong knowledge of site health and safety procedures and the ability to manage multiple activities and subcontractors effectively.
About You We are looking for a proactive and organised Site Manager who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site. You should be confident managing contractors, coordinating works and ensuring high standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout the project.
