Job Summary

A part‑time branch‑based opportunity working 22 hours per week.

Location

Cambridge – working across Lloyds and Halifax branches within a reasonable distance.

Hours and Working Pattern

22 hours a week, including Saturdays. Planned shift pattern: [insert shifts]. To support changing customer demand there may be times where these hours need to be adjusted. We’ll discuss changes in advance and aim to agree any changes early.

Salary

Salary range: £26,200 – £26,200.

Start salary: £16,469, increasing to £16,940 after 6 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide face‑to‑face support to customers in branch.
  • Handle everyday banking tasks while offering reassurance, guidance and practical support during important moments such as bereavement, fraud concerns, vulnerable customers and digital banking confidence.
  • Promote and support digital services and help customers use online and mobile banking independently.
  • Recognise opportunities to connect customers with the right products and services.
  • Adapt to different customer needs and provide a fantastic experience.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 12 months customer service experience.
  • People‑oriented: honest, genuine, caring about helping people with finances (no previous financial services experience required).
  • Ability to quickly build relationships to deliver a fantastic customer experience.
  • Empathy, acting with care and integrity, taking time to resolve queries and build customer confidence.
  • Commitment to deliver on promises and go above and beyond for customers.
  • Team player – collaborate closely with colleagues to meet customer needs.
