A respected and long-established architectural practice in Cambridge, renowned for its considered and sustainable design approach, is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join its welcoming and collaborative studio. The practice works across a wide range of sectors, including education, healthcare, cultural, and residential projects, delivering high‑quality architecture that combines strong design thinking with technical excellence.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in the technical delivery of varied projects, working closely with in‑house teams, external consultants, and contractors from detailed design stages through to construction and completion.
Role & Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of high‑quality design and technical information
- Coordinate design and technical input with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3 to 6
- Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations and relevant technical standards
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project environment
- Assist with design coordination during construction and on‑site stages
- Experienced Architectural Technologist with a strong technical background
- Proven experience within a UK‑based architectural practice
- High standard of construction detailing and technical knowledge
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
- Proficient in Revit and knowledgeable in BIM processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and collaborative approach
