About the Role

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants with experience supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) or Complex Learning Disabilities and Difficulties (CLDD)?
We are working with a fantastic special educational needs school that provides a nurturing, inclusive, and person-centred environment for children and young people with additional needs. The school is looking for a caring and resilient individuals to join their team and make a real difference to students’ lives on a full time basis.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting pupils with PMLD/CLDD in all aspects of their learning and development.
Assisting with personal care and mobility, including moving and handling and hoisting (full training provided if needed).
Supporting pupils with complex medical needs, including those with epilepsy.
Using communication aids and sensory resources to engage and motivate pupils.
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver individualised education and care plans.

Essential

Skills & Experience:

Previous personal or professional experience supporting children or young people with PMLD/CLDD (school, residential, or care setting).
Understanding of safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
A patient, positive, and compassionate approach.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Have a Enhanced Child DBS or willing to obtian.
