Cover Supervisor

Hello Education, are looking for Cover Supervisors to work within the Northumberland area supporting local secondary schools. We are happy to hear from those with a particular specialism, such as a degree in Humanitie s or those who are confident with the full secondary curriculum.

The school is well respected within the local community and has a fantastic reputation for their results, student behaviour and community engagement. The right person will cover for teachers when they are absent due to sickness and/or courses etc. Cover supervisors do not require Qualified Teacher Status. The role involves delivering pre-set work for a variety of subjects while ensuring the continuation of education for all pupils.

The Cover supervisor role is ideal for those looking to go into teaching. It provides a perfect opportunity to gain experience, giving you a great insight into working in schools. To be considered for the Cover Supervisor position, you will:
Have a passion for working with children Great classroom management skills

Experience of working with young people in some capacity, e.g. coaching Ideally a degree, but this is not essential Hello Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All candidates will be subject to compliance checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, including an enhanced DBS check. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
