Lecturer – Health & Social Care
Salary: £24,050 – £35,401 (30 hours/week)
Pro rata to full time salary of £29,662 - £43,662

Are you a passionate Health & Social Care professional with a flair for teaching? We are seeking an inspirational Lecturer to join the Care, Health & Early Years team on a part-time, full-year basis. What you’ll do:

Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care programmes, including the upcoming T-Level in Health Science
Provide associated tutorial support and guidance to learners
Potentially take on the role of course leader for one or more programmes
Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Support learners’ academic and personal development, promoting safeguarding and welfare
Contribute to continuous improvement and professional development initiatives

What we’re looking for:

Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications and occupational experience in Health & Social Care
Full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLS) or willingness to undertake L5 Diploma in Education & Training if holding L3 teaching qualification
Experience teaching and assessing Health & Social Care or Health Science programmes
Strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring learners
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with learners and provide personal guidance
Knowledge of safeguarding, student welfare policies, and effective problem-solving

Working pattern:

30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (not Thursday)
Primarily face-to-face teaching with flexible agile working options available
