Cambridge Are you an experienced Electrical Installations professional with a passion for mentoring and training the next generation? We are recruiting a Trainer/Assessor to join a dynamic Construction team in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to shape apprentices careers while enjoying a supportive and innovative working environment. What youll do:
Manage a caseload of apprentices, guiding them through their learning journey Deliver high-quality training, coaching, and support Conduct workplace assessments and progress reviews Monitor, track, and record apprentice progress accurately Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment (EPA) Build and maintain strong relationships with employers Contribute to business development initiatives and employer engagement Keep up to date with industry standards, regulations, and Health & Safety Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation

This role offers agile working, combining on-site teaching, workplace visits, and remote administrative tasks. What were looking for:
Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Domestic and Commercial Electrical Installation Significant industry experience in Electrical Installation Assessor and/or IQA qualification (desirable) Teaching or assessing experience (desirable) Strong knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Confidence using IT systems and digital tools Flexibility, professionalism, and a collaborative approach Valid UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle, or ability to travel across Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties Why join?
