Learning Support Mentor
Salary: £24,500.00- £24,500.00 per annum (pro rata'd for term/part time)

Are you an experienced Learning Support Specialist, or do you have a background in supporting SEND individuals and are looking to transition into a rewarding career in Further Education?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to join our inclusive team. We are looking for a practitioner with a passion for removing barriers to learning and a commitment to student-centred support. You will be supporting learners 1:1 and will play a pivotal role in the holistic development of learners with diverse needs, providing the tailored guidance required to ensure every student's EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) outcomes are met with excellence.

Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality 1:1 or small group support within the classroom to ensure students can engage fully with the curriculum.
Monitor and assess student progress in line with their EHCP's, providing clear feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
Work closely with Lecturers and the wider Support Faculty to adapt materials and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
A relevant level 3 qualification, or evidence experience of supporting SEND learners.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with young adults and a firm commitment to inclusive education.
A good understanding of safeguarding regulations.
