SEND 1:1 KS2 Tutor urgently needed - Cambridge
Ackerman Pierce Education works closely with County Councils to provide one-to-one tutoring for children waiting for school placements. The student we are looking to support has high anxiety and SEMH and so we are seeking a SEND Tutor / Teacher to support 2 hours per session, 4 sessions per week during School Term Time only.
We are looking for someone who is:- Available during school hours and available for 8 hours across the week (more hours available)
- Experienced in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects
- Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
- Exceptional behaviour management strategies
- Prepared to work face-to-face within the community. This will be continuous until the student is placed within a suitable school, when we will then set you up for your next student.
- Background teaching and supporting SEND learners.
- Experience working with SEMH and associated complex needs.
- To be considered as a Tutor, you must have experience working with a variety of SEND, and have a background in teaching or private tutoring.
We can offer a unique experience within recruitment where you have your own personal consultant who is available 16 hours a day, a DBS fully paid for by Ackerman Pierce Education, a budget per learner for resources, a Compliance service with a quick and easy registration process and support with training and curriculum delivery.
