08:30am - 16:30pm

Pay: £90 - £110

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to children with diverse learning needs, including personal care and following detailed care plans. Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care:
    Assist with personal care needs where required, including helping with feeding, dressing, and toileting, ensuring the students  comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Supporting Learning:
    Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, adapting lessons and resources to meet their individual needs.
  • Care Plans:
    Follow individual care and learning plans, ensuring students  health, safety, and development needs are met.
  • Therapeutic Support:
    Assist with sensory learning activities, providing therapeutic interventions to help children with emotional and sensory regulation.
  • Behavioural Support:
    Implement behavioural strategies as directed by teachers and specialists, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Developing Communication:
    Support students with communication difficulties through Makaton and other communication strategies.
Onboarding and Training
