Class Teacher - Part Time

Salary: Teachers Pay scale - from Main Pay point 1 (£32,916 FTE) - to Upper Pay point 3 (£51,048 FTE)

Contract type: Fixed term - 1 year from Sept 2026 to August 2027. Part time: 50% contract.

Location: Bottisham Community Primary School

The successful candidate will:

• Have a good understanding of the role of parents and the community in school improvement and how this can be practised and developed.
• Have an understanding of a diverse range of teaching and learning styles and techniques.

We are seeking a positive and determined individual with strong communication and inter-personal skills. You will have high expectations for the pupils you teach and be able to reach out to all children within your class. Basic skills will be at the heart of your lessons, but you will be inspired by the value we place on the creative curriculum. KS2 teaching would be preferred but isn’t essential.
