A progressive primary school in Cambridge is looking to appoint an ambitious Primary Teacher (Maths Lead) to join its team from September 2026. This role is ideal for an experienced educator with a passion for Mathematics and a desire to lead curriculum development across the school.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving excellence in teaching and learning, taking ownership of the Maths curriculum and ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the school. Working alongside a supportive leadership team, the teacher will have the opportunity to influence whole‑school practice while continuing to develop professionally through excellent CPD and leadership training opportunities.

Role Overview
  • Deliver engaging maths lessons to primary pupils.
  • Lead and develop the maths curriculum across the school.
  • Support colleagues with planning and delivery of maths teaching.
  • Monitor progress and attainment in maths and influence data‑driven improvement.
  • Promote a love of STEM across the school.
Candidate Profile
  • UK QTS required.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Experience in subject leadership or readiness to step up as a maths lead.
  • Commitment to high‑quality teaching.
