SENDCO Vision for Education are working in partnership with a high-performing, three-form entry primary school in Cambrdge, who are seeking an experienced and committed SENDCo to join their team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate SEND specialist to take on a key leadership role within a welcoming, well-resourced and community-focused school. This part-time has flexiablity around working days.

About the Role

  • Lead and manage SEND provision across the school, including Nursery
  • Oversee the day-to-day coordination of SEN support and provision
  • Work closely with SLT to drive inclusive practice and school improvement
  • Manage and review EHCPs, SEN Support Plans and interventions
  • Liaise with parents, staff and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes
  • Support and guide teaching staff in delivering high-quality inclusive teaching
  • Play a key role in developing SEND strategy and provision across the school

What We re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • National SENCo Award(or working towards)
  • Strong experience supporting children with a range ofSEND needs
  • Solid understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience managing EHCPs and working with external agencies
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
  • A proactive, child-centred and collaborative approach
