Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant - Longstanton (ASD, MLD & SLD Provision)
Time Plan Education is seeking a caring, resilient, and committed full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Longstanton, supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to students with Autism (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and other additional needs.
About the roleIn this full-tim eposition, you will work as part of an experienced and supportive team, helping pupils access learning, develop life skills, and build confidence.
Responsibilities include:
- One-to-one and small-group support for students with ASD, MLD, SLD and associated needs
- Assisting with structured learning activities and communication support
- Supporting pupils with sensory needs, emotional regulation and behaviour
- Helping to maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff to meet EHCP targets
