Hours:

Full-Time, Term Time Only (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm)

We are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our growing specialist team and help transform the lives of children and young people with additional learning needs.

About Us

We are a highly specialist independent day school supporting students aged 6-19 with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD & SLD)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Complex medical needs
  • Sensory and physical impairments

The Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in helping students learn, develop independence, and achieve their personal goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students' learning and development across the curriculum
  • Assisting students in the classroom, around the school, and within the local community
  • Helping students build confidence, communication skills, and independence
  • Supporting children and young people with a wide range of learning, sensory, physical, and medical needs
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver high-quality support
  • Promoting inclusion, equality, and positive outcomes for every student
  • Providing personal care and physical support where required
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Contributing to a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
