Vacancy for SEND Administrator

Salary:
Meridian Trust Grade 6, Points 7-12

Hours:

21 per week. Term Time plus 2 training days.

Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) until 31st August 2027

We have an exciting opportunity for a SEND Administrator to join our team! You will play a key role in the Special Educational Needs department through providing expert support of administrative and data systems across the SENDV team.

The opportunity
  • Prepare and maintain MIS mark sheets to enable support staff to record student assessments.
  • Provide valuable support to the SENDV team.
  • Maintain and update all aspects of student personnel data in SENDV.
  • Collate, analyse and interpret assessment data, including auditing data for accuracy and investigating anomalies.
The ideal candidate
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to work towards this.
  • Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in teams.
  • Has a thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
  • A good understanding of the SEND code of practice.
