Neurodiversity Support Mentor | Bromley | September Start Are you passionate about supporting neurodivergent young people to thrive both academically and personally? This Neurodiversity Support Mentor opportunity in Bromley offers the chance to work within an inclusive specialist setting where pupils with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and associated learning differences are empowered to achieve through personalised support and evidence-informed practice.

This Neurodiversity Support Mentor role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology or Specialist Teaching. Rather than providing general classroom support, you'll help pupils understand how they learn best, develop self-advocacy skills and build confidence within an environment that celebrates neurodiversity. Working alongside experienced SEND Teachers, Inclusion Leaders and therapists, you'll support pupils using adaptive teaching strategies, executive functioning interventions and emotional regulation techniques that enable them to flourish both inside and outside the classroom.

Full Academic Year | £500 £ 550 per week What the school can offer a Neurodiversity Support Mentor:
Specialist CPD covering Autism, ADHD and executive functioning strategies Opportunities to work alongside Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and specialist SEND professionals Experience supporting pupils with a wide range of neurodivergent learning profiles Training in adaptive classroom practice, cognitive scaffolding and emotional regulation Small teaching groups that allow meaningful relationships with pupils Excellent preparation for careers in Psychology, Therapy, SEND or Teaching A genuinely inclusive school where neurodiversity is recognised as a strength Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting neurodivergent pupils throughout the school day Delivering structured interventions focused on organisation, emotional regulation and independent learning Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and self-advocacy Implementing strategies outlined within EHCPs and personalised support plans Collaborating with teachers and therapists to remove barriers to learning Monitoring progress and celebrating individual successes The successful Neurodiversity Support Mentor will:
Hold A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications) and a BA degree Have a genuine interest in neurodiversity and inclusive education Be patient, reflective and solution-focused Build positive, professional relationships with pupils and colleagues Aspire towards a career in Educational Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Specialist Education If you are looking for a Neurodiversity Support Mentor role where you can develop specialist expertise while helping young people recognise and maximise their strengths, this is an excellent Bromley opportunity from September 2026.
