Solar Projects and Sales Coordinator required for our client, a well-established renewable heating and energy specialist based near Ely, Cambridgeshire. They design, install, and maintain heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage, underfloor heating, ventilation, and wider low-carbon heating systems across Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.

The successful Solar Coordinator will be responsible for managing the sales process for domestic solar PV and battery storage projects, from initial enquiry and customer requirements through to quotation, project coordination, installation support, and aftercare. Solar Projects and Solar Coordinator Responsibilities

• Manage the sales process for domestic solar PV and battery storage projects

• Review customer requirements and provide suitable solar and battery storage solutions

• Prepare customer quotations and technical proposals for solar PV and battery projects

• Liaise with customers from initial enquiry through to project completion and aftercare

• Support customers with product options, system benefits, and project information

• Work closely with installation teams to support smooth project delivery

• Provide technical support to customers, engineers, installers, and internal teams

• Assist with system sizing, specification, and project planning where required

• Coordinate materials, installation dates, documentation, and handover information

• Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, project notes, and technical documentation

• Support aftercare queries and identify opportunities for additional products or services

• Maintain a strong focus on customer service, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency

Solar Projects and Solar Coordinator Requirements

• Previous experience within solar PV, battery storage, renewable energy, electrical, or domestic energy systems

• Strong understanding of domestic solar PV and battery storage projects

• Experience managing customer enquiries, quotations, or technical sales processes

• Good technical knowledge with the ability to support customers and installation teams

• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality service

• Full UK Driving Licence advantageous

• Salary - £40,000 - £47,000

• 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
